1. Raw Material Selection
Prioritize unripe apple peel (high in phloridzin and phloridzin) (Malus domestica) root bark, along with discarded apple processing peel/pomace (resource recycling); supplement with pear root bark (containing phloridzin) (Pyrus spp.), and Rosaceae plants as alternatives (must contain ≥ 1% of the ingredient and be free of pesticide residues and heavy metals).
2. Raw Material Pretreatment
Classify, clean, and dry at low temperature.
Crush and screen by type.
Root bark is pre-low temperature enzymatically hydrolyzed to initially break glycosidic bonds.
3. Combined Extraction
The peel/pomace is extracted with 70% ethanol under reflux and concentrated to obtain a crude phloridzin extract.
Root bark and medicinal residue are extracted with supercritical CO₂ to obtain a crude extract free of free phloridzin.
The combined crude extract is enzymatically hydrolyzed to convert phloridzin to phloridzin.
4. Purification and Refining
The crude extract is adsorbed on a macroporous resin, gradient eluted, and then microfiltered.
The concentrate is added to purified water for low-temperature crystallization, followed by centrifugal washing to obtain crystals with a purity of ≥96%.
5. Drying and Quality Control
Vacuum freeze-dried and ground through a 100-mesh filter to obtain a powder with a purity of ≥98%.
Fully tested (for pesticide residues, purity, microorganisms, etc.) in compliance with ISO9001 and other standards.
